City Evolutions is an exciting initiative started in Newcastle, Australia to revitalise the east end of the city, and promote Newcastle’s oldest street, Watt Street, as a destination for safe evening entertainment and cultural experiences.
City Evolutions will take visitors on a journey through Watt Street’s history with a fusion of storytelling and cutting edge art. This self guided night time attraction will launch on 21 June 2013 with a series of interactive light projections on Watt Street buildings that will be visible from sun down through to 10pm.

This initiative is being funded by the Department of Energy, Resources and Tourism under T-QUAL grants, the Office of Environment and Heritage, The City of Newcastle and Newcastle NOW.
